Aurum Trade OS

How it works

One tick, five steps

This is the loop cron/tick.php runs, in the order it runs it. The counters underneath are from the most recent real tick on this deployment.

The last real tick —

More rejected than opened is the normal, healthy shape. The gate exists to refuse trades, and a deployment where everything is accepted is a deployment whose limits are set too wide.

  1. 1
    Refresh market data

Each active instrument advances its candles and writes a fresh quote. Everything downstream reads the same bar, so two strategies in one tick can never disagree about the price.

  2. 2
    Expire stale circuit breakers

A breaker tripped earlier is released once its cool-off has passed, before anything is evaluated. Otherwise a pool could stay halted for a reason that expired hours ago.

  3. 3
Evaluate every strategy in every active pool

Each instance sees only closed bars. A strategy is skipped entirely if it has not accumulated its warm-up history, because an indicator computed on too few bars is a number without a meaning.

  4. 4
    Size, gate, then place

Position size is derived from the stop distance and the pool’s risk budget; then fourteen checks run; only then does an order reach a broker adapter.

  5. 5
    Record and reconcile

Fills, slippage and commission are written double-entry, positions are marked to market, and the pool’s equity is recalculated from the ledger rather than adjusted in place.
